On September 4, 2014, the National Handicrafts Competition of the Fondo Nacional de las ARrtes was held, in which I was fortunate to be awarded with the 1st prize on Contemporary knife item.
The work presented was, the “Chelco”, a damascus steel blade twisted of 3 different steels and more than 300 layers. The handle was embraced by a chelco, a reptile of the Argentine soil, entirely and in a single piece of forged damascus steel.
