Damascus knives are crafted in the style of the age-old technique used in the making of swords, characterized by distinctive patterns of banding and mottling reminiscent of flowing water.

These knives are made from several types of steel and iron slices welded together to form a billet. The billet is drawn out and folded until the desired number of layers are formed, with a minimum of 300 layers. Each piece is unique and unreproducible.
